Sheherazade Thenard
Orlando based figurative painter and illustrator, Sheherazade Thenard, is the first Artist in Residence at the property Central Station on Orange located at 480 N Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32801. Sheherazade graduated from the University of Central Florida with her BFA in Fine Arts/Painting, BA in Visual Arts and Emerging Media Management, and minor in Art History. Currently, she is working towards her masters degree in Fine Arts at UCF.
The undercurrent themes of mysticism, escapism and fantasy are reoccurring within Sheherazade’s pieces. Through these works, she aims to create psychological spaces paired with hidden symbolism integral to the understanding of each painting.
As her first offering at Central Station, Sheherazade will be creating a mural on the property that represents natural beauty within the Florida landscape and encapsulates the exciting movement within the city of Orlando.
