Artist & Educator in Residence grant program for rental apartment communities.

American Landmark Apartments provides rent-free housing, monthly supply stipend, and studio space for up to 1 year for select visual & culinary artists, fitness instructors, and schoolteachers. In exchange, grant recipients are responsible for implementing weekly, on-site art/fitness/culinary programming (and soon general Education and tutoring) for their apartment community residents.

Art as an Amenity

Since its inception in 2020, our Artist in Residence program has provided unique career opportunities for 23 emerging visual artists, 8 culinary artists, 4 fitness artists, 2 musical artists (and counting) across 7 states while developing new platforms for American Landmark’s residents to gather, learn and interact with neighbors.
