Brian B.V. Cooper
Multi-media artist and cinematographer Brian B.V. Cooper is the Artist in Residence grant recipient for the property Amira at Westly located at 6105 Paddock Glen Drive in Tampa, Florida. Born and raised in New York, B.V. Cooper relocated to Orlando in 2006 and has developed his unique skillset by getting involved in the fashion and film industries from Hollywood to Paris. Brian is skilled in oil painting, digital painting, graphic design, illustration, in addition to cinematography - shooting, directing, and editing short films, music videos and commercials.
B.V. Cooper’s paintings feature recurring motifs such as women adorned in decadent fashion, often in dreamlike surroundings. His work aims to create an escape from the reality of life and inspire positivity though timeless beauty and dreamscapes. B.V. Cooper will offer various types of art classes to the residents of Amira such as interactive painting and drawing, video production and editing, digital painting, and Sip and Paint classes. He is looking forward to engaging with the community and inspiring residents through his work.
