Bethany Becker
Bethany Becker is a country pop/rock artist and actress from Austin, TX, whose passion for storytelling and music has taken her on an incredible journey. Inspired by her love for Taylor Swift, Bethany ventured into country music, captivated by its raw emotion and authenticity. In 2013, she traveled to Nashville to collaborate with industry greats like Keith Follese, Adrienne Follese, and Grammy Award-winner Liz Rose, resulting in her debut EP, Maybe More. This EP, infused with her personal stories, earned multiple nominations at the Hollywood Music and Media Awards and other competitions.
Building on the success of Maybe More, Bethany released her self-titled full-length album, featuring seven new songs created with acclaimed producer Jeff Pardo (Lady Antebellum, Matthew West). Her latest EP, If the Boot Fits, released in July 2024, showcases her growth as an artist and was celebrated with a packed release performance at Quack’s Soundspace.
Beyond her music career, Bethany is a talented actress, starring in and composing the credits song for The Dark Places, a multi-award-winning faith-based film. Her performance earned her Best Actress at the Branson International Film Festival and nominations at the International Christian Film and Music Festival. Bethany has also taken on prominent roles in films such as Joe Haladin: The Case of the Missing Sister, Convalesce, Empire of Shadows, and more. When not on-screen, she has worked as a photo double and stand-in on AMC's Fear the Walking Dead.
Bethany’s musical performances have taken her to notable venues, including Six Flags Over Texas, Rodeo Austin, and ACL 3TEN, and she has toured with High School Nation and Drake Bell. Her dynamic artistry has been showcased live on Good Morning Texas and Good Day Austin.
A summa cum laude graduate of Berklee College of Music, Bethany combines her musical expertise with entrepreneurial flair through her company, PopStardust Princess Parties, offering princess-themed events and traveling recording studio experiences. She also teaches private music lessons at TexARTS in Lakeway, where she serves as a Music Director and Sound Designer.
As the first music artist in residence at EightyOne10 Blue Goose, Bethany is thrilled to share her passion for music and storytelling with the community, bringing her creativity and experience to inspire others.
